VISITING SOCO FOR THE FIRST TIME?

01

WHAT TIME ARE SERVICES?

We currently have three Sunday services: 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM & 11:30 AM. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early if it’s your first visit, especially if you have kids to check in.

02

CAN I COME ALONE?

Absolutely. Many people come on their own for the first time. You won’t be singled out or pressured, and our team would be happy to help you feel comfortable.

03

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Come as you are. Most people dress somewhere between casual and business casual. You’ll see everything from jerseys to jeans and hoodies to dresses and button-ups. You do not need to dress a certain way to belong here.

04

WHERE DO I PARK?

We have parking available at the church, along with overflow parking near Spectrum Brands if needed. If you need help finding a spot or getting into the building, our parking and welcome teams are happy to help.

05

WHERE DO I GO?

On nice days there will be a visible red table in front of the building. This is where you check in so our team can show you around, and make sure it’s an awkward free Sunday. When the weather isn’t as nice, you will find the red table just inside the front doors of the building. Our team is excited to connect with you and help make your first visit a great experience.

06

IS THE BUILDING WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes. SOCO is wheelchair accessible. If you need assistance entering or getting seated, our Safety Team and volunteers are available to help.

07

DO YOU HAVE BIKE PARKING?

Yes! Feel free to bring your bike. We recommend bringing your own lock.

08

WHAT IF I HAVE KIDS?

We love kids at SOCO. For children 5th grade and younger, we provide free childcare and age-appropriate environments with fun activities, teaching, and caring volunteers. All kids' volunteers are background checked before serving.

Do I need to register my kids ahead of time?
No registration is needed before arriving. We simply recommend coming a little early to get your children checked in.
How check-in works
When you enter the main doors, head left to the kids' area to register your child. You’ll receive two matching labels:

  • one for your child,

  • and one for you to keep for secure pickup.

Middle & High School Students
Students attend the main service during worship and are then dismissed to their own environment led by our Youth team during 10am service.

Babies & Nursing Moms
If you have a baby under 18 months old, we have a private Mother’s Room located in the back of the auditorium where you can feed, change, and listen to the service comfortably.

09

DO YOU PROVIDE DRINKS OR SNACKS?

Yes! We offer free coffee, tea, and water. We also have specialty drinks and light snacks available for purchase.

10

WHAT ABOUT COMMUNION?

If you would like to participate in communion, pre-filled communion cups and wafers are available as you enter the auditorium. While communication elements are available each week, we also take communion as a church together frequently.

11

WHAT IS THE WORSHIP/MUSIC LIKE?

We have live worship with a modern Christian band. The environment is energetic, authentic, and focused on helping people connect with God.

12

WHAT IF THE MUSIC IS TOO LOUD FOR ME?

We understand everyone has different comfort levels with sound. We provide:

  • earplugs,

  • and hearing protection earmuffs.

If you can’t find them, ask one of our ushers wearing a lanyard, and they’ll help you.

13

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

Most services last about 60–70 minutes.

14

CAN I LEAVE DURING SERVICE IF NEEDED?

Of course. If you need a moment to stretch, step away, or take a break, we have seating available just outside the auditorium.

15

IS THERE A GUEST INFORMATION AREA?

Yes! After the service, you can head back to the red table or visit our “Next Steps” table in the lobby where our team will happily answer any questions you might have.

16

DO YOU OFFER A LIVESTREAM?

Yes! You can watch live on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/c/SOCOChurch

17

STILL NERVOUS?

That’s completely okay. A lot of people walk through our doors unsure of what to expect. Our goal isn’t perfection — it’s helping people find community, hope, and a place to belong. We’d love to meet you.

WE EXIST TO POINT SOULS TO CHRIST THROUGH LIFE-GIVING COMMUNITY.

SOCO Church

3201 S Walton Blvd
Bentonville, AR 72712

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating. Our hope is simple: that you feel welcomed, comfortable, and seen from the moment you arrive.

At SOCO, the atmosphere is upbeat, relational, and high-energy. We’re a Christian non-denominational church that tries to feel more like a welcoming community than a formal institution. Many people describe SOCO as feeling more like family than simply attending a service.

Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, haven’t been in years, or have never been before, you are welcome here.
